1) The splendid Sea can only be reached on foot with a path of 10 minutes down and 20 minutes up as the metric distance is only 500 meters but the difference in height is 300 meters.

2) The Sea has no Beach but only Rocks and Natural Rock sunbathing areas. Therefore there are no equipped Beaches. The closest are Lerici and Portovenere, 20 minutes by car.

3) Being inside the Protected National Park of the 5 Terre, NO EXPANSION of the existing cubic capacity IS POSSIBLE

Schiara is the largest town in Tramonti, perhaps it owes its name to the fact that it is the first to receive the morning sun. It can be glimpsed from the coastal road to Riomaggiore, looking towards Portovenere and the Palmaria Island. The houses are literally hanging from the mountain and obviously overhanging the sea. Arriving from Campiglia or from the little church of Sant'Antonio, at a certain point the red roofs of the old cellars of the farmers of Biassa appear, today renovated and used as (second) homes. There is also a church, very small, dedicated to Sant'Antonio. The houses are not served by electricity which is supplied by generators or photovoltaic systems.â�¨From here a flight of seven hundred steep steps descends to the sea, to the Scao, as they say in these parts, where there are fishermen's shacks. Residents can arrive by car (nearby, not in the village) passing through Biassa, from the green gym and leaving the vehicle in a clearing, which is not far from the village. We are in the kingdom of the typical wine of this area, the Rinforzato, or Sciacchetrà.
