Cabin via Sea 23, Torre Pellice

The hut is located in the Sea area, a vast plateau at 1,275 m above sea level in the municipality of Torre Pellice which dominates the junction of the Pellice and Angrogna valleys.

The Sea can be reached by car via road, mostly consortium-owned steep but asphalted (except for two well-maintained flat sections) and is 7 km from the center of Torre Pellice.

The house faces south and enjoys a splendid view of the valley, the surrounding mountains, including the majestic Monviso, and the plain, in the direction of which on clear days the Maritime Alps are visible.

Completely restored in 2003, from the roof with anti-seismic curb and covering in Luserna stone slabs to the local wood-stone interiors, in compliance with current regulations and each room, as can be deduced from the attached plans, is duly registered in the municipality .

Internally it has a floor space of 150m2 and is composed as follows:

Ground floor: entrance which gives access to the small laboratory and the living area organized with a large open space lounge - dining room, kitchen, hallway with systems, thermo stove and access to the cellar, bathroom, rumpus room with wood-burning oven, stone sink and direct access to a large, high roof ideal for sheltered lunches.

Second floor: attic with splendid view of Monviso and the surrounding mountains

Wood heating:
A centralized thermo stove heats the radiators throughout the house and in addition there are 1 glazed fireplace in the living room, a typical local "potagè" stove in the kitchen, 1 glazed stove in the study on the first floor

Externally the house has 5,500m2 of fully fenced land consisting of a flat lawn in front of the house, a large car park flat on the back, a delimited and fenced area for the vegetable garden, the driveway that reaches up to the front of the house and a beech forest.

The cabin has been the family's mountain home from the post-war period to today. It has always been a second home lived as and loved as much as a first.
We are looking, without haste, for someone who wants to continue to live and love it as much as we have lived and loved it!

SERVICES AND WALKS

With a pleasant walk on the flat you arrive at the Barfè farmhouse which is open all year round.
The beech woods in the surrounding area are rich in Porcini mushrooms in season
On foot you can reach the grange of Vandalino (1,762 m) in 45 minutes, where there is a mountain pasture with cheese production (in summer) and a bivouac. The path continues to the summit, Punta Stella, 2,121 meters with breathtaking views. The sea is connected via a circular walk at high altitude with the upper Angrogna valley and Chisone up to Prali on one side and with Monte Castelluzzo, the upper Pellice valley on the 'other.
An easy path facing south finally connects the sea to Torre Pellice--d0fb2241d67b62c9913864141162e9db!
